I've been promoting topbucks for quite some time now, making excellent sales with them, no problem at all.

Two days ago, I got this email :

It has come to our attention that there is traffic being referred through
your TopBucks account from domains and/or pages that contain text and/or
terminology that violates the terms and conditions of the TopBucks program.

We have temporarily deactivated your account and request you remove all
links to TopBucks sites from the URLs listed below. All traffic and sales
will continue to be tracked, but you will not have access to log into your
account until you have complied. We will then be able to reactivate your
account.

How in the world can those referring urls appear if lolitampegs (hi Lisa!) doesn't even belong to me??? I only send traffic to topbucks sites through teeniemovies.com ...

Maybe someone else had the same problem ...

Happens from time to time. I have had some weird urls appear in my account with other sponsors as well. I am sure you can explain it to them and get it taken care of.

Lolita is a banned word by visa

As I mentioned in the email this morning, it's banned from our billers and we have to comply. We were discussing on how to prevent getting those referrers all together. I'm on a different timezone than them so I expect to have a response to your email within an hour or so.

I got one yesterday with a similar bogus 'incest' charge. It's supposedly being taken care of though.

It can happen if you're trading w/someone who has those links. We have to "due diligence" by scanning for these things and randomly-these issues come up. Please ya'll just hang tight for now as we're discussing on our end-

Even if you don't submit traffic to Lolitampegs or the TrafficTitan networkhahaha8230;They have gallery spiders to my knowledge. I'm sure you can e-mail Lisa and ask to have your domain banned.

Oh boy, that's a headache and a half. If it were a sponsor that wasn't as good as Topbucks I'd stop sending traffic.

Topbucks took care of it, my account is active again.

You don't even have to be trading with them. Some poorly coded crawlers will carry forward weird referers sometimes. Someone could also be ref spamming for some reason etc. etc. etc. There's some really crappy scripts out there.

this is how you treat webmasters???

So this guy is just sending you traffic out of the kindness of his
heart? I will reactivate your account, but you need to take
procautions. We do regular scans for this kinda stuff and if your
account is shut down again it will not be reactivated, for any reason.
You should have access in a few minutes.

I got that reply 8 hours ago and guess what, the account is NOT working.

I've been forced to remove the trade (that I had for years) with lolitampegs (sorry Lisa) to get my topbucks account reactivated. I personally think this is not fair at all. It was not a big trade but still it was 2k a day, which makes around 60,000 visitors a month .... AND my account still is not working...

same here, i had an adwords campaign running on another sponsor and 2 days after they approved my account they deactivated it for the same reason. needless to say i wont ever be promoting them in the future.

Well not much topbucks can do about this actually. You trade with a domain with the word Lolita in it. Billers(ccbill/epoch) maybe its even a VISA rule, don't allow that. They can not afford to lose their account, so they have to take actions. If I was Lisa, I would slowly move my traffic to another domain, because this is just the beginning...
