Air purifiers

I'm looking to buy an air purifier for my office. Anyone have any suggestions? I like the ionic breeze one but it's like 350 bucks + shipping. Anyone recommend anything?

Watch out of those sharper images ones...they produce/produced too much Ozone..
I actually had bBookstone take one back 1 year later after they admitted they produced to much of the stuff.

BUT...the newest Brookstone one has a converter.....ozone to Oxygen...so looks interesting..

I hated the one from sharper image! It smelled up the room so bad that I got major headaches and yeah it's like 350 bucks, but wait...they throw in a small one for your bathroom outlet too :1orglaugh

My advice would be to get a good fan, fuck that ozone crap!

I have always been happy with my Ionic Breeze. I have never had any issues with smelling up the room or with causing headaches, I guess my mileage varies.

Sharp Plasmacluster, I did my research when I was searching for the best purifiers and they got the best reviews.

I got the Ionic and it works great, I also got the ones from Radio shack and they suck balls, make a ton of noise and nothing ever on their grills. I am not sure what the hell they were supposed to do but for $100 they suckered me in.

The Ionic Breeze is a TERRIBLE air purifier.
Consumer Reports wrote a whole article on it saying it wasdnt good for you.
Get a HEPA.
