So I just hired a personal trainer for 6 weeks.
MWF 6:30 to 8:30 AM
I'm gonna be huge this summer:1orglaugh :winkwink: |
Shit! Nice one, let us know how it works out. I wanna do something like that. Someone who will motivate me into actually working my ass off rather than just working hard.
I don't wanna get huge, just loose a little weight to get back my speed I had on the soccer pitch. |
Good for you Fred, it's nice that you are concern about your health too.
good luck. |
hope it works out well for you dude
|
The best trainer is a friend who will motivate and spot you.
|
Good luck.
I have been trying to get in shape (the rugby season begins again on the 18th) on my own, but I think a trainer might have been better. Let us know how it goes! |
great, good look with the training
|
great start!! let us know how it goes.
|
im curious... how much are you paying per hour
i was looking into this too but got a quote as if I wanted to hire P Diddys personal trainer fulltime lol |

I have a personal trainer. I thought he'd be the one to motivate me. Turns out, it's because I pay money that I show up. I'm the one who motivated me.
Men do things faster than women, curse their lovely souls...but, depending on how heavy you are or how under developed your muscles are, a good trainer will force you to go slowly and progressively. I've gone from 47% body fat to 24% with 12 pounds on the scale and 8% more body fat to go. I will say this about my ex Navy seal who shows no sympathy. I do work out harder when I train with him. He is very big on form, which keeps me from getting injured. He knows tricks of the trade to get me the definition I want.....He is knowledgeable on diet and nutrition, so that's a big help...since I'm on weight loss along with weight/resistance/cardio... And, the most important....in the beginning, I showed up because I hate wasting money. Now I show up because I'm a junky. |

That fat old broad is me a month before I started. Phoenix Forum 2005. This is me as of December 2005. http://sin-text.com/ravenpics/DSCN0110.jpg What I like about having a trainer also meant no fad dieting..it was one pound per week for me, two pounds per week for my husband....muscle building and toning was slow and steady....I did it right and will never gain an ounce of fat again because of it. Worth every fucking penny. |
2 hours is tuff yet alone its in the am

Ya know what, com?
Your comment about hubby moving over? That's part of what made every single moment of torture worth it.....thank you. It's been a long long road, starting in May and it's still going on... but, I was never heavy in my life until I moved to Seattle ten years ago. I think ten years of indulgence was long enough. :) |
I wish you the best, fred. we'd love to see some progress pics soon.
|
Good for you dude.... goodluck....:)
|
may you have the perseverance and dedication that you need along the way.
the best of luck! |
