The Compaq is Pissing me off!
 

ok its was a 2k Family server compaq so i fdisk the HD and formated 98SE onto it now it wont fuckin boot...WHY?

Check BIOS settings

it was free so i aint bitchin... where do i check the bios settings?

As it's booting....for 2-4 sec.'s a white sq. will appear in the top right corner.......your hit one of the F1 thru F10 keys,,,,can't remember

Boot from a win2000 pro cd, ;)

go in bios, just hit all the f1-f10 keys when you turn it on, when you ge tin bios, change your boot order, make cdrom the first thing to boot off of, instead of your hd, aim me bunky ;)

all/most compaq's have a seperate partition for the bios and stuff... usually like 25mb or something if you deleted that then u will need the restore cd's that came with your pc to replace it.
