epassporte buyer protection?

say if you send money to someone, and they ran off with the cash, is their anyway to get it back?

just curious, i lost some money when i paid a coder to do some work, and he fucked off.

The policy is that ePassporte will not get involved with disputes between two card holders. They have to solve it up between themselves. A p2p transaction is like a CASH transaction. "Buyer/Seller be aware".

Thats a business to peer transaction not a peer to peer transaction.

Yes b2p and p2b can be disputed.
I have to wait a couple of days to give you more information on business accounts, I don't know much about them but I will learn more about business accounts tomorrow then I can answer that :)

There are diffent information you need to provide depending on if you are a company or an individual.
As an individual you need you send in a copy of ID and a void check or letter from your bank verifying your bank account number, the name of the account holder and that the account is in good standing.
Then you need to wire $100 from an account in your name to ePassporte that is the fee to open a business account.

Business accounts can only be loaded via wire but you can receive transfers from other business accounts but not from personal accounts.

The thing to do to open a business account is to fill out the form here: https://www.epassporte.com/secure/ep...req=signupcomm
