Bush's Approval Rating Falls to New Low

"WASHINGTON - More and more people, particularly Republicans, disapprove of President Bush's performance, question his character and no longer consider him a strong leader against terrorism, according to an AP-Ipsos poll documenting one of the bleakest points of his presidency. "

Unfortunately these MORONS finally figured this out 16 months too late. Now we have to put up with 34 more months of Bush.

They are saying a 37% approval rating. I read a day or two ago that it was at 32%.

Must be different polls.

damn, I hope that the next American president has some guts and more than two brain cells, so he can undo at least some of the dammage done by Bush

Thumbler 03-10-2006 09:31 AM

That will make it hard for him to get re-elected..................no wait, he can't run for re-election. He must really worry about his approval rating.............not

No but the guy that wins the nomination in 2008 and has to let Bush speak at the GOP convention saying how he supports that person, is worried.

Guy or gal you mean, you never know :1orglaugh

I can see your point, and if Cheney was running I can see it would potentially be a problem - but as we know he isn't.

Whoever wins the Republican nomination won't be tainted by the Bush administration - or they shouldn't be - so Bush's lack of popularity should not affect them, in fact it may even help them.

Yes so when Bush who is trusted by less than 40% of the people says "Vote for this guy, I will" You are telling me that isn't going to hurt that guy?

I thought it was 'approve' not 'trust'?

Al Gore distanced himself from Clinton because he didn't want to be associated with an impeached president - it almost certainly cost him the election

No, what cost Gore the election was the machinations of Bush's brother, and the Supreme Court judges appointed by his father.

I'm not a liberal. I once was a republican though. Nice try dipshit. As I said you'd vote for Hitler, Satan, Stalin if they had Rs next to their names. How sad for you.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my entire life. I don't think "logic" is in your vocabulary, so congratulations for embarassing yourself and showing the world that you are a major tool with no common sense. Keep up the good work in the porn industry.

Not to mention the fact that he couldn't convince enough people to vote for him :2 cents:

Hmmmmm.... Gore gets 500,000 more votes than Bush and yet his problem was not getting enough votes?

Well, as he failed to win the election he obviously needed more votes than he got - or at least a wider distribution of votes which would have given him more votes in some states

dunefield 03-10-2006 11:40 AM

It only took the majority of Americans 6 years to figure out he's a dickhead?

seven 03-10-2006 12:09 PM

No, I take back what I said in my earlier post cos this is the dumbest of all i have heard all day today. Hope the actualy gop leaders could think this way so they could get their blood-pressure down a bit :helpme
