How long does it take to transfer a domain away from eNom?

I have never had that much trouble moving a domain from a registrar to another.
I have a domain i want to move to directnic in a enom account
I sent a standard domain transfer request using directnic as ive done before. but there is just nothing happening
in directnic it says: Pending Registry Approval

how long is that usually taking. Its been five days now. ive never had to wait so long for a domain to be transfered.

make sure it's not on registrar-lock and make sure you receive emails to the domain registrant on the domain whois. They usually send an email within a few hours before initiating a transfer, but that request will have to have come from directnic.

I pay $6.95 per domain at eNom, there are deals if you own more than a couple domains.

As long as youre sure youve got it unlocked - and its been with Enom at least 90 days it shouldnt take more than 2 weeks (at least in my experiences)

It shouldn't take very long at all. What did Directnic say was taking so long?
