That one is has a scratch resistant ridiculously hard ceramic band spliced with the white gold. Rado is known for it.

Few grand. I'll be in Switzerland in May, so I'll check out prices there before I buy here or online.

You might want to consider taking a trip to St-Maarten or St-Thomas, they got some ridiculously low prices on fine jewelery and watches.

Dunno if they can beat the swiss prices, but you got some of the best shopping this side of the Atlantic over there

Nah, not in my experience. I've been to all those places many a time. I was just in Nassau where they claim cheap prices too. Cheaper than MSRP maybe haha.

Lol oh god no, Nassau is WAAAAAY expensive.

But I used to work on cruise ships, so I'd travel alot and see alot of different places. And I remember St-Maarten and St-Thomas being a shoppers paradise.

I remember buying 1 Litre bottles of Crown Royale for 8$ American... thats crazy low! lol

They've also got some good choices in Jewelery (I would know, I was the onboard jeweler for the cruise ships).

BUT, I haven't been to Europe yet, so I can't say if the prices and choices are better over there. I can only speak from a North American point of view

Well maybe I just don't remember. I hit up all those islands a ton when on cruises. BTW, how was it to work/live on a ship? It seems like it would be an interesting job. I just got back from one last week.

Its nice - but around here you may as well have a tatoo saying "mug me".

The other problem is, unless you have all the trappings, like a nice car/hose etc nobody will believe it is real.

Dude, it was the single most amazing experience in my life. Its too bad it doesn't pay that well. I decided to stop doing so as to be able to actually make a futur for myself. But, I'll have some great memories for the rest of my life.

Hell, maybe I'll go work for them again in the future, I've still got plenty of time left :thumbsup
