The Govt. gets little of what they were asking for from Google.

They will get 50000 random searches and 5000 random key words for theri "study" to help prevent children from accessing porn on the net.

I watched the Senate hearing on porn about a month ago on CSPAN. What I saw scared the crap out of me. The Senators in charge of the "Tech Commision" - From Hawaii and Alaska - had no fucking clue of how the Internet works. When I say they had "no clue" I mean one of them - the one from Alaska - used the term "that email thingy".

What they need to be concerned about is kids accessing sites such as "how to kill your classmates" or "self mutilation" or even hate groups. Kids looking at porn isn't going to kill anyone. There are much more important things for our government to be concerned about.

Porn is the criticizm of choice thanks to the bible thumpers.. They dont look at the things that really hurt kids.. like death.. just nasty ol' pornography..

fortunately because they are stupid they draft stupid laws which willev entually be found unconstitutional in which it will take years before it goes thru the courts. Hopefully by then no more bible thumpers in the white house.
