Yeah I dislike them too.

However, I was just browsing through the first few pages. And almost all topics were contests/hotgirls/childish fights(headless-jimthefriend for example)

Good thing is, when I do have a serious question, I do get a usefull reply after a few bumps. Otherwise I would be gone here as well.
