GFY Book Club

So I went and bought the book "Rush" by daniel mason as reccomended by Bhutocracy in http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...threadid=59019

After reading the introduction I was depressed as all shit. The guy has such a solid writing style that he gets inside your head.

Here's everything you need to know: I was born and I am going to die. That's all you ever need to know, because that's where it starts and for all anybody cares it may as well end right there. Nobody really cares what happens in between. The world doesnt really care that you were born, and it certainly isnt going to care when you are gone.
I'm about half way through it now and it is a good book, although very dark, most of the books I read are for entertainment, like watching a movie, but this is so original and enthralling that it has got me sucked right in.

I know its said you cant read too much, but ive also been told that I do, I always have a book in hand, either writing, sketching, or reading, all day, everyday since high school... 2 books a week.

Looking at the scattered novels and references on my desk,... "Five Centures Of Keyboard Music, Art Book of Dieter Appelt, "The Divine Comedy Dante Alighieri," Amityville Horror Original Paperback, "The Sociological Imagination" and the Aquarian Conspiracy," "Women" By Charles Bukowski, "Crowley The Demystified Beast" and those are just the ones on my desk,

I read alot, but then again I havent watched TV in over 3 months...
