i need a decent mouse
heya dudes, right now i have a regular logitech ball mouse(ya know, just a regular mouse..) and some free mousepad. Anyway, it seems to have slowed down, filled up with shit and doesnt work to well anymore, no matter how well i clean it. It's hard to get any work done with such a shitty annoying mouse, so i figured i'ed upgrade... i'm after a reliable/affordable mouse, something decent that does the job, but no to expensive, can anyone recommend anything? I was thinking some type of optical mouse but not really sure of any other details... what do you guys use? what should i get? thanks in advance :thumbsup

dude, just go down to the pet store and get a mouse. you can even get a rat if you want. they are bigger. why do you have to post here about it?

Anything beats a ball mouse.

Check out this mouse HERE - It's the top-of-the-line mouse from Microsoft. It has an optical eye instead of a ball - and it's wireless. It works very good.
I have had it for about two months now - and I LOVE it. The downside is that it eats batteries like a motherfucker. :2 cents: |
Bah, wireless mice have to have batteries and shit.
I use a touchpad on my laptop. Not so bad if you're used to it, and i've been touching it for a long time. My desktops all use optical mice, either the 4 button Microsoft Intellimouse Optical or the 2 button Logitech optical mouse. Neither of them have ever given me trouble. The local walmart has the Logitech one for under $20. |

I also use a Logitech two button, bought at Walmart for $19.95, and have been using it trouble free for six months.

I have the optical mouse, but not wireless.. works great.. it also has a back & forward button on the side for web page stuff

above two replies...:)
I recently got a Logitech two button with a roller.... optical. 20 bucks... can't go wrong... |
Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse....... I got my first one when they first came out and paid like $40 for it, they dropped to $20 and I got me a new one and my kids are using theo ld one........... something like 2 years ago I think? Excellent mouse and I wouldn't EVER go back to a mouse with a ball in it, got what a pain keeping that ball clean.
Not to mention that little red lite in them helps you find the fucking mouse when someone walks in the damn room and turns off the light like they JUST did................ lmao *running to kill whoever just left me in the fucking dark* |

Those buttons are programable - You can change them to do keyboard shortcuts. For instance, I have my primary extra button there on the side, set up to do 'alt + F4' - It comes in great when walking into a pop-up ambush. I can kill pop-up's just as fast as they appear! :smokin |
heheh awesome, i'm getting MS INTELLIMOUSE EXPLORER 3.0 it has the funky extra buttons and all :Graucho i decided not to get cordless because of the batteries factor and the cord isn't so bad
|
Better watch those Intellimouse bastards............ I had one, used it on 3 different pcs and it was a mess............ not sure what was going on but with each pc, I took that fucker off of it and put a different mouse and it worked fine. A guy I talked to said they are REALLY picky on what they will run on... I went thru 2 of them before saying to hell with it and got the Optical I have now.

I had that problem before too. I had a PS/2 adapter on the serial connector at the end of the mouse cord - and this is a no-no. That's what prevented it from working. I had to call tech support to find this out. I never thought that that would be a problem at all. |
