You guys think i am fucking joking dont you! I am serious, this could lead to some serious therapy.
Some help you are,, dammit |
HTB, you need to face your fear. Do it in small steps. First go to one of those party/joke shops, and buy a rubber frog. Just a little one, the smallerst you can find. (if that freaks you out, get something else rubbery to get used to first, a pacifier or something like that would do nicely) Handle it daily. Think happy thoughts while doing it. Once you're comfortable with it, graduate to a bigger rubber frog, feel positive about it at all times, tell yourself it's a good frog, a happy frog, and that you like being with it.
Now comes the major step. Get a tadpole as for a pet. Smile peoudly while it squirms. enjoy the feeling of it when it tries to wriggle between your fingers. Spend time with it every day, taking care always to think happy thoughts around it. You'll be surprised at how proud you'll feel when the hind legs appear and it gives its first tentative little hop. Before you know it, you'll be the proud owner of a full-grown, lovable frog! Alternatively, get a BB gun and use the fuckers for target practise :) |

Even the rubber frogs make my skin crawl, what I cant figure out is why am I plagued with these things. At night you can always see 10-20 of them crawling on my house.. is that a normal thing? |

My ex in South Africa lives on a farm. She made this beautiful pond just off the patio, and then the frogs moved in. And the toads. It was ridiculous, on summer nights we used to sit on the patio yelling at each other to be heard above the racket they made. |
Get a bunch of snakes and let them go.
|
Having fears is completely normal and healthy. If you are not comfortable with it, then maybe you should seek help. I am deathly afraid of spiders. If I get one on me, I will scream like a little girl. I have never had a bad experience with a spider, but I am still scared shitless. It's nothing to be ashamed of. My girlfriend is afraid of birds. She is so afraid that she can't even stand feathers. She thinks my goose down pillows are the most sinister things on the face of the planet.

hire a pro to take care of your frogbiz!
They will see to that the plauge stopz! |
i'm ok with snakes...frogs...have no problem with them...
but...Spiders...damm i hate spiders! special those who can jump hehe |
If you have lots of lighting around your house you might try turning them out and closing the window shades. Frogs are attracted to light.
You might also try to think back to see if something frog related happened when you were a child. That's how most phobia's are created. But most importantly, you must remember that li'l froggies are your friends.. They're totally harmless, the eat nasty ol' insects, and they make great bait.. :) |

http://www.losingmylycosa.com/wolfsp...mpinginfo.html Those won't hurt you (unless you have a heart attack when one crawls across your hand). Where I live, we have two different types of nasty spiders to watch out for. The brown recluse and black widow. http://ipmwww.ncsu.edu/insect_notes/Urban/spiders.html Man, I have the willies now. eeeeeewwwwww |
Spiders can jump!
I know that can't hurt you...but still...i really don't like them... i don't like anything with more then 4 legs... http://www.losingmylycosa.com/wolfsp...ippus_aud2.jpg how can some 1 like this? |
Sounds like some sort of tree frog according to my resident creature person HTB. He says most if not all are protected species so you can't harm them like you might with snakes and such.
He said to try some of those ultrasonic creature devices you can get on the market if you have an outside outlet thats under a porch out of the weather. You might have to try a couple different brands since some of them vary on frequencies and the frogs might or might not respond to a certain one. Of course if your dawg bites you on the *ss or your cat rides around on your head with its claws out, you might want to try a different brand. :winkwink: Upside is, it should keep most other things like mice away as well. :1orglaugh And sure spiders can jump! Some as high as 8 +/- feet. |
Frogs are a protected species? WTF, I am going to talk to my pest control guy next time he is out, He did a great job and got rid of the fire ants. (those things hurt)! We have lizards all over the place too, but they don't bother me at all.
Its just those damn frogs, there everywhere at night LOL Yeah Gem they are tree frogs, nasty lil things, one landed on me and scratched me, they have sharp little nails or something. Also right now is alligator breeding season, those bastards are showing up everywhere, mall parking lots, hwy's, under peoples cars:helpme The funny thing is I grew up in the country, it never really bothered me till I moved here. "Go figure":) |
