3 Months off the Ciggs.

Its my Three months off the Ciggs today.

A few ups and downs - a bit angry here and there - but well worth stopping smoking.

:thumbsup

If you want to give up the habit - let me tell you it hasnt been as hard as I thought it would be - and I was on Seventy smokes per day. Yeah 70.

:)

madawgz 04-09-2006 03:16 PM

wow, good job man.. :) i might quit soon

MrChips 04-09-2006 03:21 PM

Up to you Madawgz - give it a go and if it doesnt work out take them up again.

Nowt to lose by having a try :)

I want to pride myself in NEVER preaching to ppl about smoking. We each do our own thing.

For me - it was give up the habit and thats the end of that messy business.

For others - have a smoke and enjoy it - each to their own thing.

:)

Aric 04-09-2006 03:25 PM

Congrats! I quit on January 1st and have not had one since :thumbsup

It was easier than I thought, but ONLY because I REALLY wanted to quit :pimp

MrChips 04-09-2006 03:30 PM

Aric - yes - I understand about the ONLY because you REALLY WANTED to quit.

Actually WANTING to quit is probably (for me) about 90% of the battle sorted out.

Its too complicated for me to explain addiction on here - but I know what you mean.

Jan 1st - Congrats to you too on your triumph.
:)

Mr.Right - Banned For Life 04-10-2006 07:50 AM

Congrats to you, keep up the good work.

MrChips 04-10-2006 08:54 AM

Praise to all you fellow "giver uppers" too :)

As for advantages - the main one is I can feel a difference in my lungs - no little pains, far easier to catch my breath, seems like I can literally "fit" more air into them - like they used to be.

About 5000 Pounds sterling or roughly $10,000 usd per year better off cashwise.

I dont get small glowing bits of ash dropping on my hands whilst typing (not a frequent thing but a real anoyance when it happened.

Kind of proud knowing that I am returning to being like most other people - a non-smoker - back in the "normal" club :)

Well done to all you other quitters again :)

Downtime 04-10-2006 08:55 AM

congrats that's awesome!

jollyperv 04-10-2006 09:07 AM

I remember reading somewhere that heavy smokers who quit will gain up to a full fucking inch on their penis, simply because blood circulation returns to normal levels. Any comments on this?

Serge Litehead 04-10-2006 09:26 AM

congrads on the milestone.

one day will be the day for me. i'm readeing myself

VicJay 04-10-2006 09:31 AM
