THATS OFFICIAL..."Myvirtualcrap" fucked me...(my full story)

Today I got an email (FINALLY!!) from Bryan Louquornik from "myvirtualcrooks"... first, he blamed me for not "being kept in the loop" about whats going on there (as we affiliates were wizards to learn about all their tricks...).
Secondly, he said their bank didn't like one of the sites I was reselling so they are holding funds "for 6 or 7 more months"...
I dont buy the "bank issue" bullshit again (that the banks monitor sites and decide who is with the rules and who is not). There should be warnings, appealings, etc., before shutting down sites, otherwise this is a very fragile business relation. And for all that work as affiliates (not owing sites with them) should be safer rules.
Besides, they should have learned from the former bank situation last summer. We webmasters and affiliates can't depend on this and accept that as a good reason, I frankly dont buy this bullshit.
I'm really pissed off since 3 weeks ago Payouts told me they were going to pay me "next monday" and they just went around the bush, putting my payments on "pending" (a very familiar status for those mvc webmasters) and ignoring my emails until Bryan decieded today to get off the Olympus comfort and answer an email from a human.
I can't stop reading so many posts in GFY of webmasters saying "MVC are good guys", "they pay me on time always", etc.
The truth: I was one of the top MVC cheearleaders too... until the "bank situation" arised... For those posting and asking opinions about doing business with these guys, BEWARE!!!... besides they take the hell of time to release you the first payment...
M

PS by the way, I wasnt an ordinary affiliate collecting pennies weekly from them, I made sometimes up to $1600 weekly... I put most of my traffic (and trust) with them and was screwed...:(

The sites you were promoting, as you know, were shut down by our bank after under aged content was found on the sites. Since the sites were shut down relatively recently, funds are being held for a FIXED, STANDARD period of time.

This is not how credit card processing works. We will NOT risk our relationship with our bank or our reputation for anyone.

jimthefiend 04-18-2006 08:44 AM

Sounds like you were peddling kiddie porn, so fuck you; you deserve what you got and then some.

CyberHustler 04-18-2006 08:49 AM

Fucking Child Molester

Kenny B! 04-18-2006 09:02 AM

Hey now, you're selling access to newsgroups which means there is no way you even have the proper documents to prove the girls that look underage are over 18!

The fact is MVC, CCBill, Epoche, and any other 3rd party processor are in business to make money off their customers websites, they don't shut down people just for the fun of it, they comply with their banks to protect their business and their clients!

Wait the alotted period of time and if they don't pay you then come and complain and you may get our simpathy!

Doctor Dre 04-18-2006 09:53 AM

What a nice backfire ... I love thoses llol

Makingcoin 04-18-2006 10:21 AM

my 2 cents worth

Hello there everyone

I have been watching this discussion unfold and thought it was time I jumped on in so you can get an opinion from the webmaster of the site I believe this guy promotes.

First up, the site does NOT peddle kiddie porn. The problem here is perceptions, as far as I was concerned all images etc were of appropriate age, BUT, and heres the rub, my perceptions of age may differ from someone else, and that persons from someone else again and so on. A large amount of the content is 2257 documented but not all of it, so I cannot prove the age of the models if needed. Frankly I dont believe that 2257 makes any difference, I recently had to modify another site as a model. clearly over 18 was holding a plastic walking cane, this in the eyes of the processors bank (not MVC) conveyed the impression that I was selling underage content. The processor said that it wasnt the model that was at issue with the bank but the fact she was holding a toy. So we have to deal with perceptions and this can be difficult, often I see sites with, for instance, ccbill an others (mashasworld, nubiles as examples), and clearly it is the case that the compliance depts perceptions differ from organisation to organisation. The extreme example is Verotel where even words are a problem. But all this said, it is reality and we live with it.

But I digress. My experiences with MVC have been nothing but excellent, they have always paid on time (usually early), customer service is on the ball, payouts to funds2go excellent, I really cannot fault them. Yes it was weird that the site was approved and then cancelled only 4 weeks later when I had made no changes that were not 2257 documented, but obviously the bank had checked again and found something they didnt like, who knows and at the end of the day what does it matter. Yes money is still owed from the last month but it would be normal for it to be held over for 6 months. Suffice to say I am building a new site, which is totally 2257 documented and, provided they will welcome me, I will place it with MVC.

So the lessons here, make sure we have 2257 then we can hold our heads high. Discard old undocumented content as what was fine before may not be anymore. If you come unstuck then live with it. Dont piss and moan about the processor (unless its ibill of course).

Well thats my 2 cents worth, MVC is not at fault.

V_RocKs 04-18-2006 05:02 PM

I can see holding the monies generated from THAT site. You can add it up and figure it out real fast... But holding ALL of the money is bullshit.

FUCKED_BY_IBILL 04-19-2006 05:39 AM

Did Anyone Get Paid From MVC This Week?

For the first time since I have been with MVC, my payment didn't come on the date it should. Right now, its 3 days late and my payment still show pending. Did anyone get paid this week?

Nydahl 04-19-2006 06:00 AM

have been with MVC for longer then 24 months I think - never got the payout delayed. And I do fucking higher then 1600 per week bro...
I think there is a reason why this happened to you - MVC are good people - all I can say from my experiences.

The Duck 04-19-2006 06:02 AM

I use MVC and as of now I have nothing bad to say about them. However their fee's suck balls. But I guess thats where they make bank.

Again, thanks everyone for the kind words.

We are ONLY holding monies generated by the sites we have shut down.

No, we do third party CC processing. This is one of the major reasons we have changed names to Paymonde, because people, despite our best efforts, think that we are some debit card or prepaid system, which we are not.

This is a common misunderstanding of our business model, almost certainly precipitated by the name 'myVirtualCard'.
