how do they think .xxx will protect child from being exposed to porn ?
children will learn to just type in .xxx instead of .com into their browsers, kids arent stupid.
ok sure, if you say "it makes it easier to filter" . well then dont you think its the parents fault if they already have a filter on their computer and their kid can still access porn. imo, .xxx would only be used to restrict and harrass the adult webmaster community and open gates for more restrictions to be applied. .xxx will do NOTHING but make icann's pockets fatter |
children* oops

Same way 2257 will work on a granny porn site.

should be an option for filter registration OR .xxx
forcing the .xxx TLD is a tad restrictive imo, and with the extra fees a bit extortive... I'd like to see them mandate an .atf TLD and require all sites that advertise cigaretts, guns/weapons, and alcohol and increase registration fees, etc... I'm sure the list can be opened to protect society from a wide range of things... |
I really don't see parents filtering out anything. Any clue as to how many actually use filtering software thats out there now?

bump the .xxx
