Nice shot of the 'Jesus Machine'.

Its in the background of a few shots. The lighting was brutal near that area for live model photography, though.

We moved around to 5-6 different locations throughout the day. Plus there were curious explorers wandering around - so we tended to shoot in low-traffic areas.

Yep, there's a lot of great areas to shoot there. But we were a little pressed for time, it was an overcast day and a lot of areas weren't well-lit...and we were haulin' around a LOT of gear (cams, props, tripods, power supplies, etc.).

Definitely we gotta hook up when you're up this way. You'd love the tunnels of the hydro valve chambers and lower power station at the Falls.

I was pissed that I missed it. We wandered through the control room, emergency roof escape, lower baffles, but just must have missed the little door.

I do love when you're standing on the roof how you have to dodge rubbish ;)

There's always next time i'm up that way.

The little door was very easy to miss. It was in the small secondary area of the control room.

Lighting the generator station itself is a real bugger (as you discovered). On one of the trips I did some long-exposure light painting shots with the 1mcp lamp and still couldn't light the entire area. If the windows near the ceiling weren't boarded over, it'd be much better.
