Amp, I did see a reason why your house is appraised at so much: crappy "condos" were going for $700K. Traffic was a mess. I've been to 4 of the Hawaiian islands I have to say Maui was my 2nd least favorite :(

I enjoyed my trip - the company was incredible too - just probably not somewhere I'll go again (unless under the same circumstances).

I usually hit places during "off season". I don't like crowds.
