Anyone use gighost?

Are they any good? They have good prices and i used to hear good things about dynamic hosting which is who runs it.

Hey Ass Man,

We help run GigHost. We offer all the major features, solid bandwidth, great support and high-end machines for a very reasonable price.

If you have any questions, just send them to [email protected]. We'll do our best to answer them.

Have a great one,
loster

Gighost is excellent for the first 30 days. They even respond to (some) support issues then.

After 30 days, there is no support and 1-2 hrs downtime every other day. They don't respond to support requests (I have tickets that have been open more than 2 weeks), they don't respond to their "SOS" service (which supposedly pages tech personnel).

They also don't respond to emails.

Other than that, I'd say they're excellent :1orglaugh

I'm using GigHost for one of our small sites right now... with no problems so far. Everything with them seems to be automated and/or do-it-yourself, which I prefer anyway. It's only been about 2 months but I have another server monitoring the uptime every 5 minutes; only a couple sporadic blips -- which could've even been caused by my dinky home server's connection. People trip over the patch-5 cable, which runs across the midle of our living room floor, all the time.
