so fucking awsome to land the deal.. have been looking for months and have missed out on everything I liked... got this property below the asking price and thats insane in todays market.. going to get a huge office so I'm over the moon (have been working from a corner of my living room)...

anyway.. had to get it off my chest :)

congrats! try to make anniversary payments (to pay off part of your principle). by doing this you will shorten the life of your mortgage and save thousands (that is, of course, if you didn't buy it with cash hehehe)

I still paid 3 x what they did when the previous owner bought it a few years ago.. but anything below asking price is really strange up here.. (only has 2 large bedrooms so that prob the reason, we're converting them into 3)..

absolutely.. kind of fucked up situation.. we live in a small apartment atm with traffic a few meters away...

we have a kid of the way so gotta think of him/her...

paying roughly half the deal in cash but will get some good rates on the mortgage since its our first home and we've got 50% cash.. hope to be able to pay if off in a few years anyway

finally :) we even got a beach nearby.. one of the few in norway as far as I know..

btw.. my new simulator for us sports is just about ready, just doing final backtesting to make sure its good these days...
