When Did You Realize That You Could Make A Living At Adult Websites? I decided long ago that I could/would never seriously try to make a living on adult paysites for the simple reason that the market is flooded and the people that are making a living at it are a million times more knowledgable then me.
Just a few days ago I decided to approach the mainstream market with adult knowledge and bingo...success :thumbsup Life will never be the same and I will never look back.

I owe a great part of my success to all of the gfy folks that I have met at conventions chatted with on the boards and icq. The relationships that I made with the folks on GFY and other boards have been invaluable and I will never forget it. I used to take it for granted but now I realize hat I was surrounded by some of the most intelligent and knowledgable people in the internet business and I didn't even know it. I learned more in the past 5 years then I learned in 16 years of schooling and for a fraction of the cost. I know it sounds like I'm just blowing smoke but I want to give my sincere thanks and respects to all of my friends, former employers, and GFY characters across the board. (You know who you are) I look forward to seeing you all again soon :thumbsup Thanks for the memories and some of the best parties I have ever been to in my life. :thumbsup

i never planned on making a living off adult. i just wanted to pay my car insurance but next thing i knew i was making 10k a month. so, here i am 8 years later.

Great for you dude.. But what about other adult webmasters? You know, we are making for living. And yes, using adult websites.

Absolutely, you guys are definatley out there but I think the number of Adult Webmasters that really make a living at this are few and far between. I think that it's similar to the music business in terms of one hit wonders.
Lot's of webmasters have caught the band wagon for a hot minute. The ones who stayed seem to be the old school that have been doing it since 1996 as well as the occasional new comer with alot of money and the right consultation behind them. Am I wrong to think that submitting galleries is a much safer and realistic way to break into this industry? Paysites seem to be a bad investment unless you really know what you?re doing and have your politics in tact.:warning
