Czech R. was way overrated, I said it many times before. But sincerely, I didn't expect them to miss the 2nd round. Ghana deserves it, no doubt about that.

Anyway I think Czech team is not overrated much - its really a good team.
We had a bad luck as 4 attackers are not able to play but never mind at all - Ghana played better and its fair that they go on instead of us .

Czechs are one of my top teams, but they were missing 2 all star strikers, no one wins with that deep of a hole in the lineup.

people outside of the US should realize that....we don't care about soccer! As a whole, we never have and probably never will on a large scale.

I guess we just can't get into sports where a big part of the game is floping on the ground and acting like a pussy for 10 minutes before getting carried off on a stretcher (only to miraculously recover 5 minutes later and merrily skip back onto the field). It's an embarrasment to athletes that play football (for example) that get leveled by 300 lb, atheltic killing machines and pop right back up and take another. that's a sport!

By overrated I meant that Czech R. was seen by ones as a possible WC winner, the big surprise of this Cup and so on. When it was obvious it's just an average team, good, but just average, with players like Nedved, Koller that are at their end, with an old coach, Bruckner, and they barely qualifyed for the Cup, being fried two times by Holland. Initially, I thought that they will qualify for the 2nd round and loose there, with Brasil. But the injuries and their coach's lack of ability took them out sooner.

I want Brasil and Czech game to draw next round.

I can agree that CZech rep is overrated in some FIFA stats or so anyway its really very good team and pretty far from average.Also Coach Bruckener is 1 of the best brains in the football he is very experienced and saying "with old coach" is little bit childish.
You must count that we got 5 top world players Nedved , Koller , Rosicky , Baros + probably the best goal keeper of today Cech - this gang can beat any team in the world man.
I also had doubht that Czechs could win a cup but they could be a big surprisse and it is true - its no overrating.
I repeat that they didn't played well and deserved to go home - thats it.

US did a great job for last few years and they play far better then used to.
I think they will go on and make it to the respected football countries society 1 day but it takes time.What you need is lot of people who understand soccer and helping to prepare young players to make a large base of future players
As far as I know its not true that you don't care about soccer much - I think its just starting there

I think CZ is a VERY good team. I think they deserved more against italy and so far I can say they tried to win. They didnt had some basic player for their type of game but they played very good and italian goalkeeper Buffon ( the real Number 1 of Goalkeepers ) just saved the match. Thats football , but I just would like to remember that CZ was one of the candidates to win European Cup last edition and team is still the same...my 2c

it's a shame Ghana's best player will be missing for the big one against brazil!
