1 - 1 and so far we've gone to shit in the second half. We were all over the Swedes in the 1st half.

A game of two halves.

We were all over them in the first half, looked like we coould win the competition.

Then it ended with us hanging on for a drawer.

We will have to play better than that.

We gotta play much better than that. Still, like you say we were good in the 1st half although should have probably had a few more shots at goal.

This is the 1st game though and we should hopefully learn from it and be the stronger team for it. The game against Argentina will tell how much of a chance we really have.

what the fuck are u on drugs? did u watch the same game as me, the ENTIRE game we were poor. Tell me one clear chance we had or carved out for ourselves, not one. Only reason u say we played well first half is because we got a goal. That performance was shit and that game was a must win.

now we need to win/draw argentina.

We were never passing enough etc etc throughout the game. However we were still by far the superior team in the majority of the 1st half which is the main point. Even ignoring the goal we were playing far better than Sweden which is maybe a reflection of that fact that sweden were crap rather than we were any good. Hard to tell.

Main point though is we were fucking useless in the second half.

We have a habit of picking up a little and battling through so like I say, just gotta see if we learn from this. It's if a game goes to penalties we're really fucked.

Yep - we'll know if we really stand a chance from that game. Problem with playing a bad team is often that your game ends up shit too. Argy's will be a different matter...

England was lucky the game ended in a tie. They had a tiny edge first hlaf but really slipped during the second half.
