messing around with my rebel this weekend, and I realized that I can max expose for 30 sec :( ...had to bring in the flashlight and snap at 1600...

I do a lot of shots at 1600 especially in night clubs

really pound for pound I will put my rebel up against just about and SLR on the market

the photographer makes the shots not the cam

Your rebel has a bulb setting that will allow it to hold open for hours. Just get a canon remote switch and lock it so you dont have to hold the shutter open with your hand.
