Im getting tons of hits from here -
http://72.14.221.104/search

and it shows up as google. What is this? There is no bandwidth rise even after the number of hits.

72.14.221.104 is assigned to Google. It's probably someone using that specific IP to make sure they hit a particular data centre. I can't explain why you'd be getting "tons" of hits though...

Ok.. I have 80,000 hits from it yesterday according to server logs.

Man do you use awstats?

Cuz one of my sites get a tons of refferrer from google with different datacenter...I think that the problem is awstats who track the ip's for google sometimes.

Yeah its awstats. Does that mean I did not really get the traffic?

I think it's the google translation service, so you probably got hit by 80,000 chinese surfers yesterday. :D
