Hey WiredGuy...Do you answer emails or ignore them?
 

Do you ignore emails and icq? If you are not accepting clients at this time, that is understandable but how about a reply saying you are to busy or not interested. Where is the common courteous in this business?

It wasn't for me. I was asked if there is someone that knew SEO and I suggested Wiredguy. All I'm saying is a simple reply would have been a nice.

It is like the dozens of emails I get weekily from people saying they have taken it upon themselves to put a link to me up on their site and that I should reciprocate because it will help us both so very much.

Then the weekly, "how come you haven't reciprocated yet?" emails.

I imagine he gets tired of that crap too. If he isn't soliciting the business, does he really have an obligation to respond to everyone?

Myabe he should just set up an auto responder with a form letter saying "not interested." Would that make you feel better?

I was not aware that he was not taking any clients. Now I know. I now also know common courtesy is not in his vocabulary either.

I receive plenty of emails and icq for both adult and mainstream business and I can confidently say I respond to all of them even if it is to say thanks for the inquiry but I'm not interested at this time. Try contacting me in X number of months. It goes a long way with people.

shit, what about when your email affiliates, even do their spam arrest crap and they still dont reply.. that really pissed me off

times are changing and those that do not understand the concept of cutomer service and simple business to business relationships will fail

Alex, WiredGuy's business acumen shouldn't be judged by your one incident. Perhaps he never got your email? I can safely say that WG is probably one of the most serious business-minded people in the biz.

Also, he has stated it a few times that he won't train future competition *Some even has that statement in their sig* - but I guess good opportunities can always make you reassess your decision.
