Europe to lose 75 million people
Woah you would think that the USA is the country on the decline with all the harsh talk against America, but the fact is USA is growing and Europe is declining! WTF?
------------------------------ The U.S. is the fastest growing industrialized nation in the world, adding about 2.8 million people a year. That's a little less than 1 percent, but enough to mitigate the kinds of problems facing Japan and many European countries. Europe, with 728 million people, saw its population shrink by 74,000 since the beginning of the decade, according to the United Nations. By 2050, it is projected to lose a total of 75 million people. http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/07/05/300....ap/index.html |
The only reason we're growing is that all of Mexico is relocating itself within our borders......

Also, the CNN article that this thread pointed to doesn't say anything about Europeans moving to America, just that the USA is gaining around 2.8 million people. It doesn't cite where said people are coming from. Sure some of them are logically moving to America, but that's not what the CNN article was about. It was mainly about how the industrialized nations of the world are going to be in a serious situation within the next fifty years if women don't start having more kids. Looks like we may have a use for mexican women after all :thumbsup :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
According to this BBC article the estimated immigration influx to European countries is about half a million per year. Im sure someone else can find similiar figures, the FACT REMAINS THAT USA IS GROWING and not only cause immigration.

i think is not easy to enter europe countries...
|
it is not easy to enter foreighn countries, but possible. Do they count illigal immigrants?
|
it's because the mexicans can just run across the border into the states, there's too much ocean for them to swim to Europe. In Canada, we really don't have that problem since the mexicans love heat, however, we just let anyone into the country and hope they stay, ie. terrorists.
|
can we please get back to the drama threads now....
|
Splum, what's all this comparing Europe to USA, do you have an ego problem or something?

the Dutch population is growing with like 500 people each year, that's because it's really hard for foreign people to go and move here (especially arabians) and because of our good health care etc people don't breed like crazy and stick with 1 or 2 kids. That's why our population doesn't grow dunno how it's like that in the other Euro countries but I assume it's pretty much the same in germany/france etc
|
It's just cuz europeans use the metric system!
(The less people, the more money to go around ^^ ) |

European population is declining due to people not breeding. It has nothing to do Europeans moving to United States. I think you misread the thread.
If there is no immigration to USA, the population wouldnot increase as it is now or it might even decline. It happens to all industrial countries. People who have higher education, better standards and more money tend to live their life then having kids, it is that simple. :2 cents: Quote:

cause we are the shit duh

Europe will be Muslim before the end of the century, Holland and France will go first. Remember, by 2020 50% of the people under the age of 18 in Holland will be Muslim. Sad but true, and the elitist fucks in power won't do shit about it.

Read.. a need to prove something - right or wrong. Hey Splum! :winkwink: I hear you can prove next Tuesday is a Friday? That's got to be worth six threads and 4000 page views debating it :winkwink: |

It's you who seems to have a problem with that - and some bullshit about crime rates - and some crap response to a post by Paul Markham when he was getting pissed with dollar exchange rates (interpreted by you to be "anti-American"). Get a life son and take that chip off your shoulder. It really matters little what one continent has or has not got - unless you want to help others in third world continents - up for that? It's fairly constructive. |

yeah but our dollar is going down :(
|
The EU is constantly expanding their borders. So, the overall population count will go up

You think "pimping porn" is way more important and "fuck the third world"? Interesting to hear your views on that next :winkwink: Na.. seriously, don't bother - it would be pointless. |

Japan will be the first to see the real trouble of declining birth rates. Their anti-immigration policies will doom them for decades to come.

America has nearly 300 million, Europe has 728 million. I think they are close to the same land mass size. Maybe we need to trim the numbers a bit. :winkwink:
