im watching cops right now, and this guy got shot in the hand and beat up by these 4 guys...

he sits down waiting for an ambulance while some cops are looking for the guys...

so he pulls out his pack of cigarettes...and the cop tells him not to smoke...:Oh crap

Noticed there is .. dunno.. an "oozing respect" for anything in a uniform - tho some may call it creeping :)

OK.. Call him "officer" if anything - that's what he is, but hey, "Sir" has this aura of respect. In the UK it's, "Hey you" (to which the reply is "What you want?" :winkwink:) or where I am now, "Hola man" (where there is actually respect - mutual respect).

Truth is, I got full respect for some law folks I know, but can't say everyone - how you supposed to "respect" folks you don't know? They could be idiots. :)

when i was 16, i was being 'taken in' in a cop car for a fight i was in, and the cop let me smoke in the back seat and took my cuffs off. :upsidedow
