picked this little scooter up this weekend...

Cant afford to buy one finished so I jumped at this opportunity. Guy built it, got all kinds of tail, decided to tear it down to redo some stuff, got caught with his pants down by wife. Going through a divorce needs cash fast.

Came with everything, I just need to reassemble it. Wheels, tires, pulley, and rotors will be going on ebay.

Pornwolf 07-06-2006 12:12 AM

Did it come with a seat?

babedirect 07-06-2006 01:24 AM

That look pretty pimp

Mr Pheer 07-06-2006 01:27 AM

how much do you want for it?

I've built a couple of nice bikes before and may be in the mood to build another

Gabriel 07-06-2006 09:43 AM

Thanks, everyone. Yes it came with a seat, its a tan suede, not my first choice. The price was right, its my first leap into choppers. My intention was to sell it after riding it a bit, turn a profit, figure out what I like and dont like then build one from the ground up to suit me. Hopefully I can get it back together by the end of summer.

I pick up the motorcycle lift on monday.

BluewireAngie 07-06-2006 10:22 AM

Mr Pheer 07-06-2006 10:39 AM

bike lifts are nice... I'd be miserable without mine.

With 4 bikes and 3 quads in my garage, i'd be miserable doing all the maintenance on the floor.

Doctor Dre 07-06-2006 10:41 AM

I seen the thread on JBM ... nice ride when it will be done ;) The taz wheels = lol

Gentle_Ben 07-06-2006 10:44 AM

long story behind it why she hates bikes. Guy on a bike ran a redlight and sideswiped her car killing the guy on the bike instantly. He was a father of 4. Plus I dont really like bikes. So no pussywhipped comments here.

Huskie 07-06-2006 11:15 AM

Not too shabby at all :)

E$_manager 07-06-2006 11:15 AM

my congratulations. Hope you assemble it good and will enjoy.

I messed up my leg on one about 19 years ago and I'm not a fan because of it. The motorcycle drivers are usually not to blame, the car drivers don't pay attention. And in a wreck between a car and a cycle, the car's going to win. I haven't ridden one since my accident.

true that usually motorcycle drivers are not to blame. but this one was. was speeding and ran right thru a stop sign. I have good friends that ride and haven't been in an accident yet.

Sucks that you hurt your leg.

J. Falcon 07-06-2006 11:42 AM

That looks sweet. :thumbsup

Rock Solid 07-06-2006 12:34 PM

hmmm, I have a rig for setting bikes on to work on. It was cool when I was building them, but now it just takes up space. You are more than welcome to have it . . . for free.

scottybuzz 07-06-2006 04:27 PM

fucking hell! nice!

Big Red Machine 07-06-2006 05:18 PM

Thats one of the best styled choppers I've seen. Its not obnoxiously raked

Thanks BD, but I already paid the guy for it. I wish I had more room in the garage, but the Impala takes up about half.

No problem . . . I will probably hold onto it until I start the remodel, then I will have a big enough dumpster to put it in.

Bdiddy 07-07-2006 12:43 AM

That'll be a great bike when it's finished!

Some people fall off the horse and get back on it. And some people live more in 5 minutes than most other people live thier whole life. Some people stand behind the curtains staring out the window at others having a good time and think to themselves... those people are crazy, they could get hurt!

I once hurt my leg on a bike when a drunk idiot ran over me with a Uhaul truck.

It took 6 months to walk again. It took 2 months after that and a huge fight with the wife to get back on a bike. I've been riding for 26 years and I'm not ever quitting. And even with decreased range of motion and a good bit of pain, I'm still having as much fun as I can.

You may have, it was making the show circuit for a year around Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona.
