Skunks
 

Was out having a smoke the other night and I heard this scratching.A mother skunk and what I thought was 1 baby were ripping up the grass gathering their nesting material and running back under some wood and shit I have stored outside.
So I read get moth balls and a floodlight to hopefully repel them last night.Out having a smoke and I see 3 babies and mom owning my yard frolicking around and just ignoring me..4 damn skunks..trouble is I have a cat and although they are nocturnal I don't want her sprayed or me.
Anybody know of a better way to repel them .I'm a animal lover and wouldn't want to place rat poison,I know they are a member of the weasel family but those babies sure are cute lil stinkers.Called a pest control and they want like 400 bucks,which I don't really want to throw away on them ....:helpme

i suggest you get a pic of a naked old bint or borrow the dog from the house down the road and let it have a run in your backyard freely. also if it squirted its stuff on your cat the cat would eat the bastard...

aw man...good luck to you. skunks are pretty harsh...and stinky. dont want them to get pissed

never been blasted by a skunk..but ive seen people who have...or smelled them

my ex was blasted by a skunk.
i didnt sleep with her till shed had a shower 4 times daily for a week and burnt the clothes she was wearing on the day of the attack.

skunks arn't bad animals... they do what they gotta do to survive... i've had the priveledge of being around a tamed skunk, they are pretty cool animals... just leave it be and let it do its thing... as long as you leave it alone, it will leave you alone

Isn't there some low, noise emitting device you can put where they're nesting that'll drive them crazy and make them leave? Something that'd also keep your cat from their nest as well?
