I saw 1 or 2 episodes of Mind of Mencia when it first came on...didn't find it funny at all.

I'd like to know wher Mencia stole his dee dee dee bit from because I haven't seen it anywhere. Anyways both are funny. I think Mencia is a bit better at stand up while Chappelle is bettter at skits.

Chappelle by a very long distance. I really like Steven Wright, Richard Pryor, and Eddie Murphy in stand up though.

Conan O'Brien calls Chappelle the funniest man on the planet. I guess everyone has a different sense of humor.

Dave Chappelle's "Killing them Softly" is probaly the best standup routine by ANY comedian EVER. The Sesame Street bit about Snufflelufagess being a drugged out bum, and The Count being a pimp is classic....not to mention the "Baby on the corner" bit. He did that way before an episode of the Chappelle Show ever aired. 3 years before I believe. And I can guarantee that 80% of Chappelle fans have never seen it. Watch "Killing them Softly" or better yet even his newest one "For what its worth" and then come back and tell me that someone who relies on gags and physical humor is funnier then Chappelle.

Chappelle. Hands down. Anyone who has gone to the Block Party would agree.

I dont know about being the best complete stand up show, but I must agree that Sesame Street skit was great. I think the best overall show IMO is Eddie Murphy Raw. That whole show was funny from start to finish. I think Ive seen it 300 times.

Chapelle by far.....Mencia dosnt connect with everyone like chapelle does....when mencia does stand up, there will be some laughing and some not, with chapelle,, everyone will be rolling....

and I really hate it when Mencia goes off with his "retard noise" its quite annoying now, branded, but annoying.....

Mencia is hated by other Comics! HE is a a total thief! HE says he is mexican, he isn't and I have heard stories where other comics have seen while they have been performing only to see him doing the jokes or act a few weeks later.
Even George Lopez hates him...half his show is Stolen from Joe Rogan, Joe wants to put the smack down on that guy!

It made the Top 10 for cable programs and it won its time slot. The only thing it didn't do was keep up with Season 2's numbers which is completely understandable figuring they lost the star of the show.
