I hated that show when I lived in the US. It was (and I'd imagine still is) syrupy and irritating. They made out people in Hollywood (movie, tv, music stars, etc.) to be superhuman. As if these people aren't PEOPLE. I don't care any more about what they do in their private lives than I do about my neighbours. If they fuck up, they get punished (rehab, prision, whatever). If they do something good for the community then Hurrah! but they don't deserve any more recognition than your local do-gooder. Its all just hype.
