Japanese girls are naturally curious, generally wait until they are in their mid-20's to think about serious relationships/marriage, and greatly outnumber Japanese men (plus many of the guys their age are struggling for a good position in the competitive job market).

Therefore, it's not hard for gaijin (foreigners) to get laid in Japan, mostly because we are a novelty (less so now than in the past), however in most instances don't expect it to get serious.

Fun times in Japan, once you get past the kawaii over-animated girlishness of many Japanese young women.

Had to shoot right down on F1.4, bounced flash, so many people around, getting decent shots was certainly a challenge. Not the kind of stuff I'm used to shooting, but thought you might find it interesting.

From what I hear, Kyoto girls are harder to pick up if you're a Gaijin / foreigner, simply because there are more foreigners in Kyoto. It seems the Schoolgirls have their gaijin interest at about age 15, when they chase youy around saying hello, then hit high school and get completely over it.

It was alluded to earlier in this thread, but Japanese teens are inundated with a culture of cute, and smiling while flashing a peace sign is a part of that.
