Registerfly sucks the balls, I need some other registrars
List your favorite registrars, I've had enough of dealing with the mongoloids at Registerfly.
Thanks, SpaceAce |
namealerts.com - probably the easiest to use and most bullshit free service that there is
Moniker is pretty solid.
I haven't had to check out mass-editing features etc. there yet,
but http://www.name.com looks good so far :) |
namecheap.com :thumbsup
i use tosdomains.net - there excellent. registered tons of names with them and all went quickly and smoothly.
I'm very happy with register4less.com
www.corpwebhost.com/domain
never had a problem, but then again i'm the reseller. ICQ me and i'll get you the domains at my cost ICQ - 291313057 |
i agree, i can't even register a domain from registerfly now.

i, too, am fed up with Registerfly. EVERYTHING about them, sucks ass!! i've nothing but nightmares with them. ive been recomended but a lot of people to go to namecheap.com so i think thats whos getting my service.
I use enom for all of my domains.
www.cheap-domainregistrations.com
cheap domains and a killer admin to do anything you want with the domains. Forward, mask, etc. |
i had problems with registerfly MANY times.
i even warned people on the board about them. i use buydomains.com never, ever had a problem with them. |
Moniker is prob your best option

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. SpaceAce |
Moniker is the best
Whatever you do, stay away from Spry. The resell for Enom and their support is literally non-existant.
I've used NameCheap a lot on my mainstream sites and never had any problems, not to mention that the domains are cheap too - $8.88 for a .com.
I use name.com. It's cheap and credited by ICANN
namecheap.com is the shiznit y0 :thumbsup
godaddy.com - occasional hiccups. but i guess its cool and uber l33t to hate them since they are like the microsoft of domain names.
namecheap.com - never have ever had a problem with them. will most likely end up bringing all my names there. yahoo.com - registered tons of domain names with them and their $2 promo. The control panel is weak. You can't even cancel an auto renew on a name without cancelling the whole domain name. It also sucked when they all came back for renewal at $9.95 or something...I ended up dropping half of my portfolio there. As far as Registerfly is concerned I have 4 names there and have yet to have a problem. The quickest server change I have ever experienced was with RegFly actually....less then a minute the domain was up and pointed. I guess most complaints come at the point of renewing....I'm still 9 months away from that point. |
SpaceAce, i had exactly same problem with registerfly so i moved to Moniker and i'm so happy now. Now when i send an email asking for support, i get an answer in less than one hour instead of waiting for weeks without answer. Moniker seems more expensive but if you add for example $500 as prepaid money to your account, the prices are even cheaper than registerfly.
