DNS propogation?
 

Is there any site that can check to see if a domain has propogated to DNS servers in other areas?

usually takes 8-18 hours. be patient!

Can take up to 72 hours.

72 hours is a closer guess, but b/c of caching, it can be even longer, my suggestion is point the old DNS servers to the new IP while the change over is happening, that way everything runs nice. :)

my advice: watch the logs on the old host during your transfer. my supplemental advice: chip in for a month of hosting at your old place. so what if it's overlap, your visitors will see 0 problems then. :)
