See what I think is so funny about the show especially with it being the second season, some of the wanna be chefs are shocked that he speaks to them like this, did they not watch the first season? Most of them just don't listen and of course don't check the food before they give it to him, he is far from being an idiot but so many think they can pull the wool over his eyes, I would be happy to call him friend.....LOL

It seems to me that the easiest way to win this show is to show some testicular fortitude and stand up for yourself and take a leadership role.

If you stand by the wayside and take orders instead of giving them, then you are gone.

show does nothing for me... actually makes me turn off the tv... I think it's just poorly produced, and have very few ideas with what they can do... it seems like they attack a person here on there on purpose and that person is told to act a certain way that it gets to them... and very very bad acting at that

Those people are hired to come so they get the feeling of what customers will act like if they don't get their food in a decent amount of time, it is all to test them....

In the UK version people come to the resturant just because they want to be associated with going to a Ramsey resturant. It isn't something the average person gets to do very often.

More People Need Kitchen Boot camp. it is definatley a character building experience. Working in kitchens for 10 years you definatley learn everything you need to suceed anywhere. And not to be a crybaby!!

I was a chef for 18 years, Ramsey is tame, trust me on that, I had my name bastard long before internet days :))

The ppl always talk tough when it just them and the camera.....saying stuff like Ramsey better not talk to me like that or I'll let him have it. Then as soon as they screw up in the kitchen, Ramsey will through their over cooked Beef Wellington....and they don't say crap.......love the show:thumbsup

He still works in his resturants and as much as a prick as he can be they aren't making up how much of a sucess he is over here.

lol i agree. i was a cook for about 3 years before jumpin into the adult biz again and ramsey is nothing compared to a couple of men i've worked with. the last boss i had, got mad one morning for breakfast, took a pan of warm melted butter and just threw it on another cook. thank god i wasnt there that morning. words to me is nothing (yelling, cussing, etc) but if you throw something at me or on me, THAT would piss me off lol

I agree. He knows his stuff, right down to the tiniest details. When they listen to him and implement his ideas long-term, they come out rosy.
