FBI Visits Diabolic Video to Check 2257 Records
|
The Hammer is coming down :(
|
|
ah shit....
|
10 More companies on their list -
|
Diabolic is in So Cal right? If so, I'd guess the other 9 on the list are in the same area.
|
Well.. that's got to be a fucking first on record.
WTF have they been doing for the last X years?? |
wonder who the other 9 are? pretty sure they will be primary producers who shoot their own stuff. most likely in porn valley. wouldn't make sense until the secondary producer thing is either ammended or upheld.
|
i think this is good news actually. if the govt comes in and looks at 10 diff companies and they all have their records in order, maybe the govt will stop this stupid witch hunt... at some point i am hoping that the govt will get it through their heads that the adult industry is just as interested in protecting children as they are. or at least as interested as they are around election time..

Production is not a casual thing. Has some very serious consequences here in the USA if you fuck up or fuck around.
This biz is not for the faint of heart and far from typical. The shit is right on the line and 1 step from Jail time at all times. People ought not have a "Business as usual" outlook. It's a rough business at all angles. Good luck Diabolic! |

Glad to read that their 2257's are in order. Let's hope the other 9 companies are too.

I wonder if the agents will request any free swag or dvd's for their own collection? |

well as long as they have nothing to hide and their content is all legal then they should have nothing to worry about

So after the first 10 have been inspected and evaluated, then we can probably expect more in the coming weeks/months?
|
damn, some heads are going to roll

Diabolic is a primary record keeper and have to abide by the 10+ year law. FSC coverage with 2257 is over secondary record keepers. Fight the tertiary record keepers! |
Did the stipulation that if you're a FSC member, that they can't come after you? I thought that was the deal.
|
An annual "reporting/inspection" day would be nice. Hope the companies on the list don't have any meetings, interviews, shoots, or other important LEGITIMATE business activites planed for the day. Interruptions suck, esp. if they can be avoided. :2 cents:
|
we've got nothing to fear, but it would suck to have them come and knock on our door... oh, wait! they don't operate outside the US, so I doubt they will send an agent here to check our paperwork (we do have it, just in case).

Interruptions are the least of your worries if no-one is there that day. |

inspections shall not be given. Inspections shall take place during the producer's normal business hours and at such places as specified in Sec. 75.4. For the purpose of this part, ``normal business hours'' are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., local time, Monday through Friday, or any other time during which the producer is actually conducting business relating to producing depiction of actual sexually explicit conduct. To the extent that the producer does not maintain at least 20 normal business hours per week, producers must provide notice to the inspecting agency of the hours during which records will be available for inspection, which in no case may be less than twenty (20) hours per week. |
Like I said :)
- I know plenty mid-level primary producers/companies that are in the office 60 hours one week and not at all the next. It's one thing for the big boys with 20 employees and "regular" business hours, but the majority of mid-level companies are less than 5 employees. |
I hope if they show up they dont show up in big black SUVs with FBI jackets on and shit cause all the office neighbors will wonder whats up....
