Just read the snopes link. Not sure if "disproved" would be the word I would have used. I would have gone for "inaccurate".

The numbers were still troubling, regardless.

Where did you get these statistics? Do you just believe everything that you get emailed by some right wing group? I find the majority of those numbers nearly impossible to believe.

Not to mention the fact that illegal aliens do pay taxes. They pay every kind of tax except income tax. Do some people not realize how many ways the government taxes us? Income tax is a drop in the bucket.

"The Costs of Immigration" (Huddle 1993) uses estimation procedures that include a variety of errors. When these errors are corrected, the post-1970 immigrants in Huddle's study actually show a surplus of revenues over social service costs of at least $25 billion

Well it's mainly that there is no real accurate way to get these numbers they are getting as you said, which pretty much means the stats as a whole are bunkus. I hate those bean farmers as much as the next Klan member, I just want to see correct stats w/o bias behind them.

With Baby Boomers reaching retirement age ,the illegals will help pay the Social Security, but won't benefit from it. I think thats how this administration is looking at it.
