most painless and fastest way is get your pic taken at post office, then hand it to an attorney to handle the rest... they get it done fast :thumbsup

The FASTEST way is to drive to the closest passport center (there's one in L.A.) and pay for the expedited service. Your friend will have their passport the same day.
