I understand how you feel. But the world needs to see it... to show them who's tough and that there's no way for us not to survive a crisis even at the darkest hour. We need to deal with it, one way or another.

I think they are dishonoring the memories of all those that died in that tragedy by making a propaganda movie.

I saw the trailer on the weekend when I went to see Miami Vice (which wasn't a bad movie btw). At first I was kinda like.. 'wow, this is really bad timing, makes me feel very uncomfortable to see this on the screen'. Then I realized, yknow right after 9/11 the entire world was inspired and yet in the time since it seems to have gone down to a backburner status and become riddled with conspiracy theories, so perhaps the whole 'unifying' effect of 9/11 can be recaptured by an inspiring movie.

Then again, people are fickle, and it's not even 5 years yet. It will be interesting to see how it fares, particularly in America.

i can'r think o it anything certain, i have to see it. The only thing i have to admit - i don't like Nicklas Cage.

People keep complaining about movies being made too soon and dishonoring people that had to live through effects from whatever like 9/11 just like the movie about the airplane, Flight whatever. But we were making movies about the vietnam war around 3 years after that war went on. We make movies about other people's tragedy a year or so after it happens, the only difference is that this was so many civilians on american soil who died so people get all touchy. I wont watch it just because I don't really want to see my home town get blown up again. But I never watch Vietnam war movies either because I don't need to see all the racist americans in the movies killing my family. If it seems too personal then those people shouldnt watch it, for everyone else that didn't experience it, or know everything that happened it's probably a good idea to see if, if they even care. Although you have to know that a movie is going to change things so it's probably going to add some different bits and pieces to the story to spice it up a little. If it affects people so much that it could cause a controversy they've probably gotten the response they wanted when they started making the film.

Ok I'm done hehe.

I sure hope they put in the 500 or so other reports of secondary explosions.

Ya know the firefighters we saw on TV saying that there are bombs going off in the buildings, before they even fell.
