there'll be peace once isreal goes back to its borders from prior june 5th 1967 and starts reckognizing that its neighbours have rights too. none of these people want war, they just fight for what's theirs just like anyone else would. todays killing of innocent children by isreal should put them to shame, its just so wrong.

i think you forgot about Iran and Syria.. They are the root cause of a lot of issues... The bigger issue in regards to middle east peace is rooting out the extremist muslims... they exist all over the world and are the primary cause of middle east instability.. of course, the bigger underlying problem is oil...

They've been fighting since the day of Christ, it won't stop anytime soon.

i just don't agree that rooting out terrorists can be achieved by trying to kill them all. for every one you kill, another 10 join up and for every civillian they kill another 100 future terrorists join up. they are proud to die for their cause which makes them a lot more dedicated fighters and more dangerous than everything we can ever throw at them. and let's not talk about nukes, we all know that wouldn't work.

i agree that oil is a major factor but its also the west trying to force democracy and our way of thinking on them. they are proud people too and proud people don't like have things forced on them.

immediate cease fire, isreal back to the original borders and freedom for the palestinians. that's the only way i see this possibly end. they all wanna live there so ultimately they need to get along.

the situation is messed up beyond believe but seeing that isreal with US backing is the stronger force, it say it's up to them to take the first step in the right direction but killing innocent children, shooting at red cross ambulances and blowing up UN soldiers certainly isn't the way to go.

Imagive if you were Syria or Iran, you would do the same, exercise pressure in that region through various proxies, that is what geo-politics is all about, U.S. does it.
