Webcams.com RSS feed traffic leak!
Webcams.com RSS feed has a major traffic leak:
Their RSS Feed link should have all links inside it pointing to reseller id, j2media. Instead the link to the picture (the link most surfers will probably click) links to %25reseller%25. This doesn't happen to all of the links... Only certain ones: Code:
http://www.webcams.com/affiliate/promo/picturegalleries/2-new/78.php?reseller=%25reseller%25&link=/index.php?page=join In my DB I had over 160 from the blog that uses this feature. |
Wasn't a master conspiracy or anything... just a designer oversight.. % is automatically converted into %25 with some HTML editors. The two entries that were doing that are fixed. I'm looking for others now.
Our RSS feeds are cached for 30 minutes for performance so please generate another feed URL to test or wait 30 minutes to see it in the same URL that you pasted above. |
glad you noticed that

this is why everyone should just promote webcamcash!
