If you aren't gaming / editting, what is the use of a big video card ?
I mean... photoshop isn't gonna run faster right ?
Somebody please tell me the advantages of a big video card. |
it sounds nice, and what if someday you do want to play a video game :winkwink:
|
How about ... NOT
I'm not wasting my precious time with video games. Been there done that ruined my life. (not really but...) No more gaming for me that's definitive ;) |
good graphics? specially when watching porn... :)
|
even for editing you dont need a huge card I only have a 64mb matrox
|
I don't think I know anyone with a fast graphics card that is not into gaming, do you know many?

That I can understand... And about graphic beeing good while watching a video, does this even change anything ? isn't it the resolution on the card that would make the difference ? and mostly the res of the video you're watching ? I understand that you can't watch real HDD vids with a mobo card (64 mbs), but I couldn't care less about that. |

Oh ok, that's not too bad, the all-in-wonder cards usually have lower gaming performance than the regular counterparts.
|
For the same reason people need a Lamborghini when they live in the middle of the city.
|
for nerds its about who has the best graphic card and what not, its kinda like the "my penis is bigger than yours" complex but among us nerds. i agree with the posts above, u can get a decent all-in-wonder card for video editing its really cost effective
|
Many people think they have a fast graphics card, because it has '256MB of ram'. When you go check it out, it's onboard graphics integrated in the mobo, that always cracks me up.

Ok pretty much answers what I was wondering ;) TY.
