Caro.Net Set To Launch Dedicated Server Division !!
Carolina Internet is set to launch its long awaited and eagerly anticipated dedicated
server division, with the official launch date to be set for August 15th, 2006. During this ramp up time, we will be running some Grand Opening Specials on most of our dedicated server offerings and select colocation options. Carolina Internet has specialized in colocation and dedicated hosting in its private facilities since 1995. Carolina Internet owns and operates three state-of-the-art data centers in Charlotte, North Carolina, offering complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security. With over 32,000 sq. ft. between the three centers, Carolina Internet has an offering to fit any need. A fourth DC is currently in the works which will add another 35,000 sq feet to our current capacity. Our product offerings include private cages, cabinets, half-cabinets and/or rackspace by the Unit. The data center has UPS battery backup power and multiple diesel generators onsite. Transit includes several Tier-1 backbone providers (TelCove, Level 3, Time Warner, Saavis) which are directly accessed using multiple dedicated fiber routes. With 6gbps of dedicated bandwidth, Carolina Internet is one of the largest data centers in Southeastern United States. Look for our new website coming soon which will feature detailed specifications on our data centers and network as well as hosting features, options and pricing! Here are some of the pre-launch specials ready to go right now !!

I, as well as our support, will be very active in the community, without a doubt, but breaking into it looks to be harder than anticipated thus far. It's certainly not our intention to spam, merely to inform. This is a big step for Caro.net and the announcement of it has been a long time coming. Thanks for your concern however pr0, and the gratuitous bump :thumbsup Lessons 1 and 2 noted. |
Bump for some good deals! :thumbsup

The majority of our IP space is coming from TW. However we just received a ton from Arin so they're portable now. We have TW, Level3 and TelCove actively used and connected, but we aren't advertising routes over all of them. Saavis will be advertised, and in the ASN mix within the next 30 days. Remember, were not here to make it seem like we are more than we advertise, or have all the answers. We are just coming into our own and our launch on the 15th of our dedicated server line will be the first of many steps for us. Answered your :-) as best I can. |
Rockstar Content host all of our stuff here and the support rocks ! Great Pricing as well ..
|
Good people there. We use their hosting and have been very happy with the service.
