Saying he was in the area delivering steaks, and he had some extra ones and would sell them for $2 each. This some sort of rotten meat scam?

The funny thing is, I was at my moms and the same truck with another guy said the same thing. He was in a van that simply said "angus beef" on the sie.

That used to happen where I lived too... some guy would come around like once a year in a pick up selling meat. Found it bizarre at first, but then heard its common in rural areas.

I've gotten some food from those guys when they drive around. Good stuff.

Depends on where you live. In Minnesota, they used to do it after deer hunting season. They had so much extra meat and didn't have the room to store it that they'd sell it door-to-door. Nothing beats deer!
