just saw 'fast n furious tokyo drift' - review
well, part 1 was ok. It was different, and some nice driving scenes in it and the acting wasnt all that bad.
Later i watched part 2 - a superfluous sequel with a far fetched story line, the real racing scenes of part 1 were replaced with horrible cgi racing scenes and the acting was also terrible. So, i didnt even wanna watch part 3 in the first place, and after hearing that bow wow was in it I thought it would be even worse then part 2. The comments of some friends who already saw it made me decide otherwise - after all 'tokyo' is in the title and i love asian sluts, and i heard there were alot of hot ones in the flick, and they said the movie wasnt bad at all. Start of the movie, introduced to the main character and it was a relief the talentless paul walker wasnt it. This new guy is not a great actor, but i felt the card board acting kinda fit his role of being a not so bright redneck. Bow wow surprisingly didnt annoy the fuck out of me, so on to the racing scenes. Back to the old skool! Ok some cgi camera tricks but mostly it was real drifting and racing action, very nice. Storyline wasnt great, simple but that fits these kinda movies - no far fetched weird story like in part 2. Plus the last sequence was pretty funny. Conclusion: Simple and good entertainment, and that's all what counts in these type of movies. Forget part 2. I actually enjoyed this movie. I think i even enjoyed this one more then part 1 but im not sure about that. |
hmm, surprising

This is the WORST movie i've seen in a very long time. I honestly feel saddened that I no longer have that 110minutes of my life and that I paid to flitter away that much of my life on such shit. Conclusion : Jerk off and go to bed, this movie is not worth a pinch of shit. The fact that drift expert (insert whoever he was here) had a *cameo* apearance in it means that all the drift kiddies will flock to watch this shit and encourage these assholes to create more dribble. |

Yeah the 2 totally sucked. The gfact that Vin diesel screwed up their plans made it suck.
Paul Walker is only a supporting actor. He definitly has no talent... |
I didn't like it
|
hey it had some hot asian chicks:)
|
well honestly, i was a bit bored when i wathced the moview. the story is lame, the actors are really bad...but the cars were cool. Vin appeared on the last scene
|
Awesome! Same heart-pounding and adrenalin-rushing car chase scenes. :thumbsup
|
i might see it when its for rent...
|
I saw a commercial for this the other day. I thought to myself "Great, somebody's combined the two stupidest things you can possibly do with cars.". The first being make a fast and furious movie and the second being drifting.
|
Looks like some good action.
Liked the first one best. |
I did manage to like it somehow... although the story is just an ordinary... but I do like the cars there, its awesome and the japanese guys too, I didnt know they are so hot too... hehehhee
