Lamont Defeats Lieberman in Primary
"Ned Lamont, a Connecticut millionaire whose candidacy for the United States Senate soared from nowhere on a fierce antiwar message, won a narrow victory in the Democratic primary last night over the incumbent, Joseph I. Lieberman."

Republicans are about to become an endangered species...

Lieberman had 48% of the vote. He said he's no longer a Democrat and will run as an Independent.

Yup but hugely controversial. I dont think this will fly. Watch other dems distance themselves from Lieberman in droves. Already Sen Clinton has put her support behind Lamont - most others will fall in line. Im assuming many republican senators wont want bush coming around to stump for them this round. :winkwink: |
I hope he wins as an independent because both parties are filled with scumbag robots.
