MySpace to get 900 Million from Google

Paying off 2/3 of their total online investment with one days deal, not too shabby.

Myspace will be incorporating Google search on their website. Not bad, considering Myspace is the #2 most visited site in the U.S.

Sorry, but there are no ifs.

"Under Monday's deal, Mountain View, Calif.-based Google will pay News Corp. at least $900 million in cash through 2010 to provide search results and online ads on MySpace, AmericanIdol.com and other websites run by Beverly Hills-based Fox Interactive Media."

BIGTYMER 08-09-2006 09:37 PM

There are "ifs" but I'm sure they won't have any trouble meeting the traffic requirements anyhow.

"Google has agreed to pay FIM at least $900 million between January 2007 and mid-year 2010, providing its properties meet certain traffic and related commitments..."
