another cut in our liberties?
 
carry-on luggage has been banned on british flights AS WELL as flights from the united states. why do i have a bad feeling that this is going to stay in effect? i don't like the way things are going...

also, airlines are private companies.. they can choose to require you to fly wearing elephant costumes if they choose to do so. this has nothing to do with your liberties. :2 cents:

Actually I'm fairly sure it isn't the private compagnies giving the orders there.

if there really was a risk to the public, would they really want to cause mass hysteria? wouldn't they be more likely to keep it as quiet as possible? i never believe the mainstream news right away, there's a lot to think about...

I'm not a constitutional lawyer, but last I heard being able to carry luggage onto a plane was not covered in the Bill of Rights.
