mainstream PC help related - forum or blog????

ok, I'm starting a my first mainstream project

basically a site where people ask PC related questions/state their problems and other people answer them - that'd be forum

or blog - where I do basically the same but in the form of small articles, e.g.:

how do i stop my computer from beeping - and I write the solution
desktop computer keeps shutting off randomly - list possible causes + solutions
and so on

which one is better??? I'm talking really long term - I want to grow the site really huge, and I know it's going to take time but I'm prepared to wait and grow it and water it every day

so, blog or forum??? and why

thanks

I think a blog would be best since you dont have to worry about populating the forum and can start creating content for it asap.

I think you might be right, it's easier to start a blog, and when I get some decent traffic to it then I can open a forum too

You're picking an area with a shitload of competition from well established sites.

Why not do a blog where you allow people to submit questions to you via a custom submit form, and then you answer them in the form of tutorials or articles?
